Good: Changes eras.
Bad: Not very fun.
Pizza?
Comments:
I?m glad you have music, that makes up for much that is lacking in this game. There are some interesting things, but not enough to change my mind.

Overall: Dull, but works. 2

Artistic: This IS ugly. 1

Technical: ASCII art feature is awesome. The text-flying-thingy-feature is awesome. Few menu choices don?t work and controls are somewhat awkward. Here?s a 3.00, don?t use it all in one place.

Genre: The best implemented feature of this game, deserving of a 4.

Really cool concept and execution. The ascii-mode map was really neat and it was really cool that it adapted to your zoom level and stuff, this was one of my favorite uses of ascii-art in the contest.

The biggest problem was that using the train actually seemed to be more of a hinderance than a help. I wish that the road graph were "islands" connected only by trains, so that you had to use the trains to get there. I tried to ride the trains in era 2 but it was always easier to just walk there.

The map was well done, and somehow "felt" like an urban map. I hope you keep working on this, and put some real graphics in, this could be a really cool and innovative game.

Looks quite polished and it might even be fun to play, but I don't quite get it. The white dot doesn't seem to want to move in the direction where I want it to move.

The game features an impressive display of ASCII art, especially in the help system ... I was totally taken aback by the nice idea of animating the text positions and making them look totally cool (reminded me of Jazz Jackrabbit 2!) ... The controls are quite smooth.. and you've got to find a way of choosing the right turns to make, so you'll reach the pink dot and deliver...

The approximation ascii art upon completion and start up make a wonderful visual effect ... :) good stuff!

mmmm, this game is some kinda crazy taxi.
the graphics requiere a some imagination(the car is a white spot!), but they're OK.
The game is fun, the ASCII map is cool and original. sometimes the white/yellow spot doesn't go where i want, specially on closed curves. But anyway it's an excellent and fun game, the effects on the texts are cool!.
Two thumbs up for the music, but sometimes it stops for no apparent reason and in some eras music is kinda... silent.... ;-).

I think this game would be better if: mmmm, it's fine as it is, but music could sound in ALL eras....

A quite entertaining game, based on a cool concept: You move through a grid of roads, delivering packages, taking the trains to help you make it faster. But I kept waiting for the point when it would get really challenging, and that never happened -- I tended to make the deliveries with plenty of time to spare, even without taking the trains. The game could use some difficulty tuning: I suggest more trains, a bit fewer roads so it's not as easy to find a direct path, and tighter time limits towards the end.

That said, We Deliver is still definitely worth playing. The ASCII-art map previews are particularly ingenious. The time theme is done well, with the various eras you play in.
